Wine description
Created as a tribute to Angelo, second son of the founder of the Varvaglione winery, this Primitivo Salento is made from Primitivo and Aglianico grapes. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled maceration at a temperature of 26-28 C°. Malolactic fermentation is followed by ageing in French tonneaux for a minimum of 3 months.

It has an intense red colour with violet hues. The olfactory notes evoke ripe red fruits and spices while on the palate it is strong and decisive and impresses with its beautiful persistence on the finish.
