Descrizione vino

The white Pinot belongs to the Burgundy Pinot family and it is strictly related to the Pinot Grigio and with the senior of every pinot the Pinot Nero. The main characteristics of the Pinot Bianco are the freshness and the wide fruity aroma in addition to a dry and full taste. This wine has a good harmony between the body and the acidity.

 

Characteristics of the Pinot Bianco DOC wine

The technical characteristics of the Pinot Bianco intend the remaining sugars of 2,0 g/l, the acidity of 5,8 g/l and  the proof of 13,3 %. It can be aged 2-4 years. The Pinot Bianco Tramin dell’Alto Adige DOC Südtirol has a complex chromatic range: from a green yellow color to a clear straw yellow one that depending on the aging period it can be more and more clear and bright. The perfume is spicy with red fruits and a light apple hint. The taste has nut and green leaf aromas, it is full and enveloping with fruity, velvety and very elegant tannins.

 

Suggested pairings with the Pinot Bianco of the Tramin winery

The Pinot Bianco is ideal with light starters, with fish or white meat courses. It is suitable also as appetizers or with vegetables soups. It has to be served in a tulip wine glasses with a very little extremity to concentrate the scents to the nose. It has to be served at 8°C.
