Descrizione vino

Vigne di Zamò's Picolit DOCG is produced with 100% Picolit grapes, grown in the company's vineyards in Rosazzo, Udine. After the harvest in mid-September, during which a careful selection of the best grapes is carried out, the grapes are left to dry for about 3 months: then they are de-stemmed and pressed. The product obtained is fermented in barriques, where it refines for 2 years before being decanted into oak. It is then bottled in the third year and in the fifth marketed.

Vigne di Zamò Picolit’s features

On the organoleptic examination, this sweet Friulian wine shows an amber yellow color. The nose expresses sweet fruity notes of apricot, citrus, tobacco and almond paste. On the palate it is characterized by a certain freshness and aromaticity.

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Friulian white wine

Excellent wine for the end of the meal, it goes perfectly with various types of dry pastries. Try it also with goose foie gras but also with blue cheese. This wine should be served at a temperature of 12 degrees in a large glass.
