Moscato Giallo DOC BIO
This elegant label by Manincor is produced with Moscato Giallo grapes, cultivated in vineyards located in Mazzon di Caldaro. The hill’s elevation here is 350 meters above the sea level and the lands have a southern orientation that allow a fabulous exposition to the sunrays. Other cultivations are in Vogelleiten, above Manincor, where the soils are composed by clay and limestone. After the elimination of stalks, the grapes’ maceration lasts 12 hours, in order to extract aromas and structure. The spontaneous fermentation is managed in wooden barrel, without any yeast addition. 4 months aging on lees exalt aromas and taste.
Features of this Moscato Giallo DOC wine
Shiny straw yellow colour. Its delicate perfume is characterized by nutmeg, cedar essence and grapefruit. The taste is fruity, intense, savoury and persistent.
