This Lugana Benedictus wine from Cantina Le Morette is made exclusively from Turbiana grapes grown in the estate’s most historic vineyard. The harvest is carried out strictly by hand to preserve the integrity of the grapes and ensure careful selection: the bunches are picked during the third week of October. This is followed by gentle pressing and vinification in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 16°C, after a brief maceration. Part of the wine completes fermentation in oak tonneaux. The final stage of ageing takes place in tonneaux for 6 months.
Characteristics of this Veneto wine
It has a straw-yellow colour with golden hues that intensify with ageing. The bouquet is delicate, with notes of exotic fruit, acacia blossom and spices. On the palate, it is fresh and mineral, with excellent length on the palate and nose.
