Awards and honors
A wine resulting from the skilful vinification of Nebbiolo, Barbera grapes and a small part of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The origin of the vines falls within a selection of vineyards owned by our family in areas particularly suited to our large terroirs. Vinification takes place in steel. Maceration on the skins for about 20 days. Aging for about 24 months in French oak barrels and a small part in barriques follows.
Langhe Rosso Oltre DOC Pio Cesare’s features
A bright red color. Intense aroma, hints of ripe berry fruit. The taste is quite light, with a bitter note.
