Characteristics of the wine from Piedmont
The annual production profit is 70 quintals per hectare. A part of the harvest is picked and worked in October. The other part is left additional 30/40 days in the vineyard depending on the weather conditions and the side of the Tanaro river where they are cultivated. It follows a maceration period of 6 months in oak barrels. The result is a combination of different sensations due to the different maturation periods of the grapes coming from the same vineyard. The proof is 14% and the acidity is quite remarkable at 6,3 ml per liter. It has a light straw yellow color with a scent of exotic fruits. The taste is harmonic and dry lightly sour with a sweet aftertaste.
