Gavi del Comune di Gavi DOCG FONTANAFREDDA
The vinification of 100% Cortese grapes. Fontanafredda winery, symbol of Italian food and wine quality, breeds the grapes for the production of this label in the municipality of Gavi. The vinification begins with the soft pressing of the grapes, immediately separating the must from the skins. Fermentation is conducted at a low temperature of 18-20ºC in stainless steel tanks, after refrigeration and static decantation of the malolactic must. The wine is aged in steel tanks for about 2-3 months on the lees of the lees, then, after a cold stabilization intervention in spring, it is bottled.

Serving suggestions tasting this white wine
An excellent wine served as an aperitif, but it enhances the combination with appetizers and dishes based on fish, shellfish and shellfish in general. It is the right wine for the summer, but its gastronomic weddings know no seasonal boundaries. The optimal serving temperature is 8°C.
