Etna Bianco ALTA MORA from the Sicilian Cusumano winery is made from pure Carricante grapes, grown on the slopes of Etna: it is therefore a naturally volcanic and mineral wine. This wine is part of the Alta Mora line, created to evoke the salient characteristics of the area: Alta refers to the altitude of the vineyards located between 600 and 800 m above sea level and Mora evokes the dark color of volcanic earth, the blackberry or lava on which the vineyards grow and which gives the wine its typical minerality. After manual harvesting, winemaking is carried out through soft pressing, static decanting and alcoholic fermentation in steel. The refinement takes place entirely in steel over a period of 4 months.
Characteristics of this White Etna
It has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The olfactory bouquet is mineral and smoky with references also to white fruit, flint and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is fresh, soft and naturally mineral. The persistence is excellent, long and savoury.
Recommended pairings with this Sicilian white wine
