Descrizione vino

The San Marzano winery produces this sensational red wine which is the maximum expression of research and refinery between innovation and technology in the Salento. The density is 4500 trees per hectare and the vineyards are located in the San Marzano hamlet in Puglia in the core of the Salento. The cultivation soil is located at 100 meters above the sea level with hot climates with few rains. The soil is clay, not deep with some rocks. The grape harvest takes place in the second half of September and there is a thermo-controlled maceration for 10 days followed by an alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts. The refinement takes place in steel. The Rosso Salento IGP keeps its organoleptic characteristics for 5 years.
