This red wine from the Sicilian Cusumano winery is part of the line dedicated to the grape varieties used in purity and most widespread on the island. To produce this Sicilian wine, grapes from vineyards over 10 years old are used, placed on clayey and compacted soils at Tenuta Presti e Pagni, Monreale. After careful manual collection of the bunches, we proceed with destemming, cold maceration of the skins in the must for 2 days at a temperature of 5°C. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel then takes place until reaching the final refinement phase which requires a 5-month break on the fine lees.

It has a deep ruby red color, with purple hues. The olfactory bouquet is fruity, enveloping, with notes of ripe black fruit, berries and spices. On the palate it is velvety, with a pleasant fruity persistence.
