Descrizione vino

From the vinification in blend of fine and selected grapes of Sangiovese 95% and Canaiolo 5% from the land located within the limits of the farm in Tuscany. Vinification: left to ferment in steel and aged for about 15 months in oak barrels in the glass stands out for austerity and finesse, for lengthy and for balance. A wine of rare typicality, capable of surprising even after many years from the harvest.
 

Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG's features

Appearance, the wine has a ruby red color, which tends to become garnet red as it ages. The perfume on the nose has an intense scent of violets and a finesse that increases more and more with the passage of time. The taste on the palate is rather dry and harmonious, but also slightly tannic, with a flavor that becomes more and more velvety with the passage of time.

 

 

Suggested food pairings while tasting this product of Castellare winery

It goes well with roasted red and white meats and is also very suitable for poultry, hare and medium-aged cheeses. The optimal serving temperature is 20 º C.
