Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva produced in Tuscany by Boscarelli Winery since 1968, is a structured and spicy red wine that comes from Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile and Merlot. This red combines structure, complexity and great aging potential.

 

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva’s features

The Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva of Cantina Boscarelli, is produced with the vinification of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes derived from a selection of vineyards of at least 20 years that give complexity and structure. The wine ages for half in small casks and the rest in large casks from 28 to 32 months, then filtered before bottling. It has an intense ruby color and aromas of cherries and marasca cherries combined with hints of tobacco and licorice. Elegant tannins.

 

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Tuscan red wine

Perfect with pasta dishes rich in sauce, such as Tagliatelle with meat sauce. It also goes well with white dishes as long as they are structured with mushrooms and sausages. The main courses can be served with grilled meat or stewed meat. Pizzaiola meat is the ideal match. The wine should be served at a temperature of 17ºC in large glasses.
