Wine description
Valpolicella Superiore is made from native grapes and is best enjoyed when young; its name pays homage to Stefano Accordini, founder of the winery. After manual harvesting of the grapes, they are crushed and destemmed. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is aged in the bottle to increase its smoothness on the palate.
Characteristics of this Veneto wine
It has a bright red colour and delicate red berry aromas. On the palate, it is dry and velvety with a pleasantly persistent finish.
Recommended pairings with this Valpolicella Superiore red wine
Try it with meat dishes such as roasts, stews and braised meats. It is also excellent with mushroom or radicchio risotto. Serve at a temperature of 18°C.
