“Toscana Rosato” by Castello di Ama is produced with the vineyards of the hills located between Gaiole and Radda in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico. It is a blend composed by Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. Before the fermentation starts, the must rests in steel containers, where the maceration process lasts 12 days, in order to give the wine an intense pink colour. The white fermentation, that is managed in the same containers, is set at a controlled temperature of 18 max 20°C. The product ages then in the bottle.
Features of “Rosato Toscana” produced by Castello di Ama
The organoleptic exam reveals a light pink colour. The scent is characterized by mature cherries and is enriched by pleasant hints of wild strawberries. The taste is fruity, rich, and persistent.

This traditional wine is perfect with sushi, fish and seafood. It has to be served fresh, at 12°, in a high, wide wine glass and reaches an alcoholic strength of 13% Vol.
