The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso "Riul" of the Livon Farm was born in the vineyards of Riul, in the Municipality of Corno di Rosazzo in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The variety used is 100% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, cultivated on clay soils. The harvest takes place exclusively by hand in boxes, with soft destemming, and subsequent fermentation on the skins for 20 days. The wine ages for 13 months in barriques at a constant temperature; it is then reassembled and left to age for a long period in the bottle.

This Friulian red wine has a garnet red color with hints of undergrowth and blackberry . It’s a persistent, savory wine with nice tannins.
