Negroamaro e Primitivo "Armentino" SCHOLA SARMENTI
"Armentino" is made from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes grown as saplings in Nardò, in the province of Lecce from vineyards more than 50 years old. In the cellar they are then further selected on a modern sorting table. It follows a fermentation in steel at controlled temperature, the aging comes for 14 months in new tonneaux; then, 12 months of further aging in bottle.

The wine has an intense ruby red color; The nose has a hint of over-ripeness, almost dense. You can recognize the plum and the sour cherry, sharp and well defined. In the mouth, then, you will discover a powerful red but pleasant to drink at the same time. An elegant wine with a pleasant long finish.
Serving suggestions tasting this Apulian wine
Excellent with stewed red meats, game and with traditional pasta dishes. Serve at a temperature of 16ºC in a large glass.
