Wine description
Directly from the Alta Murgia, on clay-limestone soils at 300 metres above sea level, the Nero di Troia Barricato Telamone of Cantina Terre Carsiche 1939 is born. Following the harvest in the first ten days of October, the pure Nero di Troia grapes are fermented in steel at a controlled temperature. The ageing phase requires 12 months in steel, then 24 months in barriques and finally 12 in bottles.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
It has a very intense red colour with garnet reflections. The olfactory bouquet is very intense with spicy hints. On the palate it is velvety, full-bodied and with spicy notes.
