Nebbiolo "PERBACCO" DOC VIETTI
This wine praises the important denomination “Langhe Nebbiolo DOC”of Piedmont. It is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The wine making, starting from the production area, considers the use of grapes coming from different vineyards usually designated for the production of Barolo or Barbaresco. The alcoholic fermentation last for 3-4 weeks and it is managed at a controlled temperature of 28°C. Then the malolactic fermentation is developed in barriques and in steel. All the different vineyards are vinified and aged separately until the selection of the lots defines which one will be used for the production of “Langhe Nebbiolo” and which other will be aged further for the production of “Barolo Castiglione”. The aging after the malolactic fermentation, managed in big barrels made of oak and in barriques, lasts two years. After this phase, the wine is assembled in steel again and then bottled. It is easy to remember this sensational wine for its scents and its taste. “Langhe Nebbiolo DOC Perbacco” comes from vineyards of 35 years old, matures in barriqus for 4 months and in big barrels for further 20 months. It is a fabulous product if we consider its quality in relationship with its price. Strong, powerful and intense in youth, it becomes refined and elegant with the aging.

This wine reveals a shiny ruby red colour. Its rich perfume recalls wild fruits like raspberry, cherry, joined to mineral sensations, spices, balsamic hints, liquorice and white pepper.
