This red wine from Cantina Fantini is made from pure Montepulciano D'Abruzzo grapes: the grapes come from the Colonnella, Ancarano, Controguerra and Roseto vineyards. Following the manual collection of the bunches, 10% of the must is extracted using "Fantini Selection" yeasts. Thanks to the low temperature maintained during fermentation, a good component of polyphenols is extracted, which will then give the wine its characteristic red color. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, it is aged in American wooden barriques for 6 months.
Characteristics of this Abruzzo wine
