From the vineyards of Tenuta Cantalupo in Notaresco come the pure Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes used to produce this Fantini red wine. After hand-harvesting the carefully selected bunches, maceration is carried out in contact with the husks and subsequent fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature for approximately 25 days. Once the malolactic cement has taken place, the final aging phase takes place for 24 months in wooden barriques and finally bottling.
Characteristics of this Fantini wine
It has a very intense garnet red color and a rich and complex olfactory bouquet: ripe plum, cherry, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate it is pleasantly soft, with velvety tannins and a chocolate and vanilla finish.
