Lagrein "Graf" DOC CANTINA DI MERANO MERAN

From the vinification of Lagrein grapes, the native Lagrein vine is one of the leading varieties of the territory. The origin is the classic one of the land surrounding the city of Merano, from which the refined company takes its name. For the vinification the alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature takes place in a stainless steel tank where the must is moved for about 10-15 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in used tonneaux and barriques follows.

Lagrein Graf DOC’s features

A dark garnet red colour. The nose has aromas of violets, cherries and bitter chocolate. The taste has an harmonious and delicate flavor with well-structured tannins and a persistent finish.

An excellent wine with game, red meat and hard cheeses. The serving temperature is 16°C.
