This Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo from Cantine Torri vineyard is located in Controguerra, in the province of Teramo, in a charming thirty-year-old row at an altitude of 290 meters above sea level and facing south-southeast. This wine is made from 100% red grapes, the bunches of which are selected manually during a harvest in early October, under certified organic farming. This is followed by vinification in heat-conditioned steel vats and, after a suitable stop on the skins, aging takes place in the concrete tanks for at least 4 months, before being bottled in the total absence of oxygen.
Characteristics of this Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo wine
It has a bright ruby red color. The olfactory notes are striking for aromas of red and black berry fruits, while on the palate there are hints of raspberry, blueberry and strawberry.
