Wine description
This Piedmontese red wine from Dante Rivetti is made from pure Barbera grapes from the old plants of the Boschi vineyard. The red grapes harvested during the harvest are gently pressed and then fermented at a strictly controlled temperature using the traditional reassembly method. The wine is then placed in a barricade for aging, which involves a stop in an oak barrel for 12 months and then another 12 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Piedmont wine
It has a ruby red color with purple highlights. The olfactory bouquet recalls red fruits, spices, vanilla and tobacco. On the palate it is full, enveloping, with soft tannins.
Recommended pairings with this red wine from Dante Rivetti
Try it with meat and game dishes but also with aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
