Descrizione vino

These 3 bottles are sold in an elegant silk-screened case.

 

The grapes used for the vinification of this wine are those of Moscato Giallo. The age of the vineyards reaches 25 years of age. The yield is very low, just 18 hectoliters per hectare of vineyard land, this helps to raise the prestige of this spectacular passito white wine. The training system is the Trentino pergola with Guyot-trained uprights. The residual sugars in this wine reach 200 grams per liter. The vinification involves the late harvest of yellow muscat grapes, drying in the loft for 5 months, then pressing in March with a final yield of 18 liters of must per 100 kg of fresh grapes. Maturation for 24 months in tonneaux. The vineyard stands in a hilly area with southwest exposure at 300 m above sea level. The microclimate is particularly mild and airy. The ground is pebbly with limestone, clay and sand.

 

Characteristics of this Passito "SERENADE" DOC

This Trentino wine is characterized by an intense golden yellow colour. The scent is rich in ripe fruit with hints of passion fruit, mango, orange peel. The taste has powerful notes of honey: it is velvety and enveloping on the palate with vibrant acidity of freshness, exotic fruit in the aftertaste of long persistence.

 

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Passito DOC

Try it with courses of cheeses, both long-aged and slightly seasoned, by cream cheese and moldy and blue-veined ones. Also excellent with classic and creamy pastry. Wonderful at the end of a meal. It should be served cool at 14°C in a small glass.
