Valtellina Superiore Inferno "La Cruus" DOCG Mamete Prevostini
100% Nebbiolo grapes selected in a vineyard of 1,8 hectares located in Montagna, in Valtellina. The manual harvest starts after the first decade of October and consider the use of wooden boxes. During the winemaking, only the best grapes are selected for the pressing, that means that the ruined fruits or those hit by the mould are immediately rejected. After the elimination of stalks, the pressed grapes are poured into steel containers where the alcoholic fermentation starts. 15 days maceration on skins at 25°C, followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels and 12 months aging. The maturation continues in the bottle for 10 months
