This Valdobbiadene Extra Brut from Andreola is a DOCG prosecco obtained from vineyards located in the micro production area of Guia. The grapes used for its production are pure Glera, raised at an altitude of 250-350 m above sea level. The strong and energy-rich soil, composed of layers of brown sandy silt, reddish clay silt, siliceous gravels, pebbles and conglomerates dating back 100,000 years, before the last ice age encircled the soil with body and character. The harvest takes place between September and October, after which the wine is made in white with soft pressing, refinement of at least 6 months in steel and setting of foam by Charmat Method in an autoclave.
Characteristics of this Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG
Straw yellow color. Gentle and intense blister. On the nose, hints of ripe white gooseberry, spring flowers and citrus fruits. The minerality underlines its intriguing complexity, with saline and citrus notes.
