With its rich and persuasive taste, Soave Colle Sant'Antonio from Prà Winery is made from carefully selected pure Garganega grapes. During the manual harvesting of the grapes, the vines are cut during the first waning moon of September. This is followed by destemming and soft pressing, fermentation and ageing in large 30-hectolitre Allier oak barrels for a period of 18 months.
Characteristics of this Soave Classico
It has an intense yellow colour and a particularly complex bouquet: ripe yellow fruit, vanilla, honey and cinnamon. On the palate, it is pleasantly fresh, full-bodied and with a finish of candied apricot and toasted almonds.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Veneto
Excellent with typical dishes of the Venetian culinary tradition: sarde in saor, fegato alla veneziana and baccalà alla vicentina. Also try it with fish dishes and mature and blue cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 8-10°C.
