This particular wine from Verona is made by “noble and powerful” Corvina grapes for a 65% and the 35% of Cabernet that has been perfectly integrated to the Verona territory. The choice of the Corvina is the will to obtain a wine that can be aged and that achieve its best after 7 years. The vineyards are located in the Negrar valley in the Valpolicella area where the Cabernet vines are cultivated with the guyot method closer to the ancient pergolas of Corvina. Other Corvina vineyards are in San Pietro where the soil is morainic. The Cabernet is picked and it must wither to lose the 30% of its weight. It is pressed in November and it is added the Corvina to start a fermentation. The Cabernet enrich the wine of silky tannins which are exalted by the elegance of the Corvina. Once bottled it stays for 6 months.

It has an intense, lively, deep and dark color. The smell is wide, complex, elegant and enveloping with vanilla and toasted wood aromas. The aroma must evolve and it has cacao and berries aromas. There are typical cherry, spicy, prune, violet aromas. It has a strong character with velvety tannins and a long and soft persistence.
