Weinbeschreibung
Pecorino Igt by Cascina del Colle is a white wine from Abruzzo. 100% Pecorino grapes are harvested in last September and fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature of 18°C. Then it has to be refined in bottle for about 4 months.
Characteristics of Pecorino Igt
It displays a lively straw yellow colour. On the nose it conveys intense and warm scents , like those of mature fruit. Taste is a well-balanced mix of softness, freshness and savoriness. It offers a good length which ends with fruity notes.
Recommended pairings whila tasting this white wine
It can be paired with fish dishes, fried food and grilled fish. Pecorino Igt should be served at a temperature of 8-9°C, after being cooled, in order to enhance its qualities.
