Liguria di Levante Rosso "FORLINO" Baia del Sole

"Forlino" wine from La Baia del Sole winery comes from 40% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 30% Syrah grapes: the vineyards are located near Luni, Castelnuovo Magra and La Spezia at an altitude ranging from 0 to 30 m; the soils are sandy with clayey components, with fairly sized pebbles. The manual harvest takes place at the beginning of September, then follows a fermentation and maceration procedure at a controlled temperature of about 18/26°C. Malolactic in steel and bottle aging follows.

Characteristics of this Ligurian wine

Upon organoleptic examination this wine shows an intense ruby red color; the olfactory notes refer to red berried fruits with slight spicy hints. The palate is dry, soft and full.

Perfect in combination with all meat dishes but also grilled vegetables and cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 18°C in a large glass.
