Descrizione vino

From the most suitable vineyards of the territory, Feudi di San Gregorio chose the best grapes of Fiano with the clear objective of producing wines, assigned to the line "Selezioni", able to express the essences and the merits of the territory Irpino. A line reserved for the best wine shops. The exaltation of quality obtained by the happy encounter of knowledge and passion. From the vineyards of the hills of Sorbo Serpico were selected the best grapes. Pietracalda is the best expression of Fiano. The denomination is that DOCG Fiano of Avellino that few are able to boast. The grapes of Fiano for this wine are vinified in 100% purity. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°-18°C followed by the maturation of about 4-5 months in steel tanks with permanence on their yeasts and repeated bâtonnage to put in suspension the fine lees.

This sensational wine of the Campania tradition has a distinct straw yellow color. The bouquet ranges from fresh chamomile flowers to freshly picked fruit and candied citron. The taste on the palate is released with the classic elegance of Fiano di Avellino, thanks to a smoothness perfectly balanced by freshness and a lively minerality. A wonderful taste, which closes with a finish of rare persistence.
