Wine Description

From the vinification in blend of characteristic and autochthonous grapes of the Amalfi Coast pe derive from the vines of Red Feet, locally called "pears is palummo" for 70% and Aglianico for 30%. The origin is the classic one within which the company operates; Ravello and Scala, Amalfi Coast. The harvest develops at the third decade of October. Manual harvest management. The vinification provides that the grapes harvested at the time of their complete maturation, after destemming and crushing are subjected to fermentation with intense maceration lasting 20 days with subsequent malolactic fermentation and processing in new French oak barrels. 12 months of new French oak barriques.

 

Characteristics of this Campania wine

The appearance of the wine is bright ruby red, the aroma has rich hints of ripe red fruit open the olfactory, with which are perceived hints of black cherries, cherry and ripe plum, followed by mineral nuances and hints of Mediterranean scrub. The taste has the drink is fresh, full-bodied and mature in tannic texture. Good persistence.
