Descrizione vino

An organic wine resulting from the wise and conscientious vinification of 100% pure Chardonnay grapes. The origin of the vineyards used for its production falls in the area of Western Sicily within the limits of the Winery Fina. The grapes are harvested in August to the perfect degree of ripeness. For the vinification we follow the traditional methods, then the fermentation, as per Sicilian tradition is developed in barrels of new barriques. The wine is aged for six months in barrique on yeast lees and six months in bottle.

 

Characteristics of this white wine

The wine has an intense straw yellow color. The aroma is wrapping, with hints of vanilla and ripe fruit, all cedar and apricot. The taste has a soft, rich and decidedly persistent taste; intense and complex aroma. The taste is warm, full, elegant, with an excellent persistence and a remarkable structure.

 

Serving suggestions tasting Chardonnay Terre Siciliane

Tuna or swordfish tartare, fish soup, fish dishes, elaborate fish, white meats and medium-aged cheeses. The optimal serving temperature is 12ºC.
