From vineyards located in Monforte d'Alba, the Rinaldi hamlet from which it takes its name, this Barbera is characterized by a strong, powerful character but nevertheless denotes a great drinkability. After destemming and pressing, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts follows, in steel and in contact with the skins for 18 days. After malolactics we move on to the aging phase: the wine rests in the bottle at a constant temperature of 14°C for two months before being marketed.
Characteristics of this Piedmont wine
It has a very intense ruby red color. The olfactory notes are pleasantly fruity, primarily black cherry, blueberry, undergrowth and licorice. Intense on the palate with a remarkable acidity that brings a remarkable balance.
Recommended pairings with this Piedmontese red wine
Excellent with game, game, red meat and aged cheeses. Serve at 16°C.
