Wine description
This red wine from the Piedmontese winery Giovanni Rosso comes from the Barbera d'Alba DOC production area. The grapes are harvested by hand during the October harvest. After soft pressing, the must ferments in steel tanks in contact with the skins for classic red vinification for about 15 days. The wine is aged in large 50 hl French oak barrels for several months.
Characteristics of this Piedmontese wine
It has a very intense ruby red colour. The bouquet is reminiscent of ripe red fruit, primarily plums, raspberries and blueberries. Fresh and harmonious on the palate.
Recommended pairings with this Piedmontese red wine
Perfect with soups, mushroom risotto, cold cuts and red meat main courses. Serve at a temperature of 14-16°C.
