Descrizione vino

"La Firma" by Cantine del Notaio Winery comes from 100% Aglianico del Vulture grapes, harvested manually during the first decade of November with slight overripening: the harvest takes place in this period to allow the tannin to ripen sufficiently, smoothing their accentuated varietal hardness. After the harvest, it follows maceration of about 20 days and maturation in natural caves of volcanic tuff in carats or tonneaux of French oak for 12 months and other 12 months in bottle.

 

Aglianico del Vulture "LA FIRMA" DOC's features

When examined for its organoleptic qualities, this wine shows a ruby red color enlivened by purple reflections. The nose opens in aromas of black fruit and forest, alongside hints of carob and amaretto; in the mouth strike the velvety tannins and a long finish.

To be combined with important meat and game dishes, mature cheeses and important meats. The wine should be served at a temperature of 17ºC in large glasses.
