Mediterranea

The Mediterranea Cellar  is located in the San Pietro Vernotico territory in the high part of Salento.The company was found in 1997 by Giuseppe Marangio and Vito Epifani two wine experts who wanted to start their own production.The territory was particularly suitable for the vine cultivation and for this reason it brings its better characteristics and scents of the mediterraneum macchia to the wines; this is where the name of the company comes from.  From the beginning the main aim of the company was the constant research of quality, that’s why in few years, the company has achieved important and respected goals.The first bottles were commercialized in 2000 and the productions consists of : Negroamaro IGT and Primitivo di Manduria DOP.
