This Toscana Bianco "Terre di Tufi" from Teruzzi Winery is a white wine made from Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Trebbiano grapes. Following the manual harvest which is carried out with a careful selection of the best bunches, the next day maceration in the press and soft pressing takes place; then happens the phase of cold decantation of the must and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C in steel. Aging requires a stay in steel for about 8-9 months partly in steel and partly in tonneau and barrique; the blend is then assembled and a new 6-month refinement in steel is repeated.
Characteristics of this Tuscan white wine
The organoleptic examination shows a bright straw yellow color, with fruity and citrusy olfactory notes that blend with toasted notes recalling wood. On the palate it has good acidity and flavor.
