Wine description
This white wine from Salento of Schola Sarmenti Winery comes from 60% Fiano and 40% Chardonnay grapes, from the vineyards of Nardò (Lecce) located 30 m above sea level. The harvest takes place towards the end of August and the grapes are harvested by hand and then pressed. The maturation takes place in steel at controlled temperature.
Characteristics of this wine from Salento
It has a straw yellow color and an olfactory profile reminiscent of citrus fruits and white pulp. Enveloping on the palate, pleasantly fresh: the taste has notes of vanilla and toasted hazelnut. Persistent finish.
