Wine Description

Nes means Miracle. The island of Pantelleria, wild and generous, gives us its most precious nectar, a Passito with intense notes of candied fruit, citrus, eucalyptus, sage and apricot. This wine is the result of the wise and conscientious vinification of grapes of Zibibbo cultivated to alberello pantesco, Unesco heritage. The origin that guarantees the Denomination of Controlled Origin is that of the island of Pantelleria. The vinification after the harvest period in the second and third decade of September provides for the soft pressing of the grapes, the beginning of fermentation and the addition of dried grapes. Aging in steel tanks at controlled temperature for 10 months.

Characteristics of this Passito di Pantelleria

To the appearance evidenced by the organoleptic examination, the wine has a golden yellow color tending to amber. The aroma is intense with notes of candied fruit and citrus with hints of eucalyptus, sage and apricot. The taste is harmonious and persistent, with predominant hints of apricot and dried fig and hints of candied fruit and peach in syrup.
