It has a quite good ageing potential.
Characteristics of Nero d'Avola wine
It displays an intense ruby red colour, with purplish reflections.
Bouquet is characterized by watermelon, leather and coffee notes.
Fresh and light in taste with a subtle tannic aftertaste.
It can be perfectly paired with aged cheeses, game meat, grilled meat and stew red meat.
It should be served at a temperature of 18°C in a wide crystal glass. A decantation of one hour before serving is suggested.
