Descrizione vino

A wine from the Capichera winery’s red line. The result of the skillful vinification of the grapes of the most famous black grape variety of the island, the Syrah. The origin of the vines falls in the municipalities of Olbia and Palau. The designation of origin is the IGT Isola dei Nuraghi, which guarantees the Typical Geographical Indication. The aging potential is high and the fermentation is followed by maceration in steel tanks for 3 weeks. The wine matures for 12 months in barriques and 12 months in large barrels.

 

MANTENGHJA's features

All’aspetto che si evidenzia dall’esame organolettico, il vino si presenta di colore rosso cupo con riflessi violacei intensi. Il profumo è di grande intensità e concentrazione; si riconoscono il ribes, mora, mirtillo, bacche di ginepro, menta, caffè e cioccolato. Il gusto è pieno, caldo, rotondo e polposo; il frutto è maturo, la persistenza in bocca continua con un finale avvolgente, sostenuto da una grande stoffa e da una fine trama tannica.

A wine to be combined with the cuisine of the earth and especially the main courses of red meat. Excellent with the steak of grilled beef. The optimal serving temperature is id 16 °C.
