Wine description

Curtefranca DOC is a still white wine from the Contadi Castaldi winery. Winery that has selected the most famous vineyards and the richest vine-growers of expertise and traditional experience from this magnificent area of Franciacorta. For the creation of this wine 100% Chardonnay grapes are used. The vinification takes place through a soft pressing and after the decantation phase the selected yeasts are added. Fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel and partly in barriques for a period of 20 days. The aging for 6 months takes place partly in steel and partly in barrique.

The characteristics of Curtefranca Bianco

At sight it has a bright yellow color with golden reflections. The nose is rich and fresh with hints of white flowers and exotic fruit. On the palate it is sapid and mineral with an acidic vein that prolongs its persistence.
