Descrizione vino

A fine wine, the result of an amazing grape variety. The most famous white grape variety of the island alone (100% Vermentino). The origin falls within the administrative area of the municipality of Arzachena. This sensational wine of the winery Capichera, boasts the Denomination of Territorial Origin "IGT Island of Nuraghi". Its aging potential is between 10 and 25 years, very long, and varies depending on the vintage. The fermentation in the production process is developed in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 º C, for 4 weeks. Maturation is 6-8 months in new and semi-new barriques

 

CAPICHERA Vendemmia Tardiva "VT"'s features

The aspect evidenced by the organoleptic examination is straw yellow with slight golden reflections, very clear. The bouquet is intense and complex with notes of orange blossom, lemon, aromatic herbs, wisteria, lavender flowers and citrus honey. The taste is dry but at the same time lively and warm, rich and fleshy, with citrus and honeyy tones, the finish is long and caressing with great retro taste persistence.

A product that finds its natural combination with fish and shellfish dishes, cooked with fine and elegant preparations. From scream with the lobster to the steam. The optimal temperature of service is of 12 °C.
