Toscana "VISTAMARE" Gaja Cà Marcanda
Wine Characteristics
Descrizione vino
This fantastic white is the result of a joining between a local variety, Vermentino, with another one planted in the past, Viognier, that recalls the French achievements in the territory. To be more precise, this product is composed by 60% Vermentino and 40% Viogner. The vineyards are located on a smooth slope that is oriented to the Tyrrhenian Sea and receive all the benefits that the sun and the sea winds give. The wine making requires that the varieties follow two different processes. Vermentino is fermented and aged in steel, while Viognier in wooden barrels. At the end of these procedures, the varieties are assembled. “Toscana Bianco IGT Vistamare”, produced by Ca’ Marcanda-Gaja, express through its name its vocation for the sea wind, the sun and the summer in Tuscany. This interpretation joins freshness and softness with a high-quality level.
