Bocelli 1831 Terre di Sandro 2020 Toscana Rosso IGT is one of the most representative wines of the Bocelli 1831 company's historic line, produced in the Lajatico area, in the heart of Tuscany. It is a wine created to authentically express the Bocelli family's connection with their homeland and is named “Terre di Sandro” in homage to their father Alessandro Bocelli. This is a wine obtained from Sangiovese in purity, coming from historic vineyards located on hills with predominantly clayey-sandy and well-exposed soils. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected to ensure quality and concentration. Winemaking involves controlled fermentations and maceration that allows for the extraction of structure, color, and aromas without excess, while maintaining finesse and balance. The aging takes place for about 18 months in French oak barriques, followed by a rest period in the bottle, which helps make the wine more harmonious and complex.

On organoleptic examination it appears with an intense and deep ruby red color. On the nose it is rich and complex, with notes of ripe cherry, black cherry and berries, accompanied by floral hints of purple and spicy and balsamic nuances that develop with evolution. In the mouth it is a full, structured and enveloping wine, with well-present but elegant tannins and a good freshness that supports the sip. The finish is long, fruity and slightly spicy, with an overall feeling of balance and depth.
