BOCELLI 1831
Bocelli 1831 is a Tuscan winemaking project born from the union between the historic Bocelli family and the world of wine, with the aim of enhancing the territory of central Tuscany, particularly the Lajatico area and the Pisan hills. The name “1831” obviously recalls the year of birth of the Bocelli dynasty, underlining the profound link between family tradition and continuity over time. The history of the winery is not that of a centuries-old winemaking reality, but of a modern project rooted in the culture and identity of the family. The idea is to create wines that represent contemporary Tuscany, combining respect for tradition and an innovative approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Collaboration with expert oenologists and agronomists has allowed us to develop quality production, oriented towards the valorization of native grape varieties such as Sangiovese, alongside international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. One of the peculiarities of the Cantina Bocelli 1831 is precisely its ability to combine territorial identity and international scope. The wines are designed to be immediate and pleasant, but also structured and suitable for aging in the most important labels, such as Alcide or Terre di Sandro. Alongside reds, the range also includes whites, sparkling wines and more modern interpretations such as Prosecco DOC and the classic method, demonstrating a wide and diverse production. From a production point of view, great attention is paid to grape selection, vineyard management, and the balanced use of aged wood. The goal is never over-extraction or excess wood, but the balance between fruit, structure and drinkability. This approach allows you to obtain wines that are recognizable, elegant and consistent with the territory. Another distinctive element is the strong connection between wine and culture, also made evident by the figure of Andrea Bocelli, who helped give the project international visibility. In this sense, the winery is not only a productive reality, but also a Tuscan ambassador to the world, capable of uniting music, art, and wine into a single identity. Bocelli 1831 represents a modern and dynamic winery, focusing on the quality, elegance, and valorization of the Tuscan region, while maintaining an accessible and recognizable style, designed for both the Italian and international markets.
