Rosso Toscana Brancaia TRE BRANCAIA
Produced in Tuscany by Brancaia winery, this wine has the important denomination IGT. It is assembled with different vine varieties: 80% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This prestigious wine is able to express the quality that characterize its winery located in Castellina in Chianti. Its particularity lays on the assembly of three varieties coming from 3 different buildings of the company Brancaia, placed in the area of Chianti and Maremma. The maturation starts in big barrels made of French oak. The result is a product of high intensity and elegance, suitable for every situation. The harvest falls on the second half of September in order to allow the right maturation of the grapes. During the fermentation process, the temperature is set on 28°C. The maceration lasts 18 days and is followed by the maturation, developed for 2/3 of the product in 500lt “tonneaux” and for the last 1/3 in concrete containers. Then the aging is extended for 12 months, at least 2 in the bottle
Features of Brancaia “TRE”
The organoleptic exam reveals a ruby red colour with deep shades. The perfume is reach of alcoholic fruits, cinchona, ink, withered violet. This intense scents harmonize perfectly with the balsamic features of this intense wine, that praise a complex and full taste. The tannin is fully present but well balanced by a delicate richness that preludes a long lasting persistence.

The perfect pairings are represented by typical Mediterranean dishes . Great for every situation but excellent with beef hamburger. Brancaia “TRE” has to be served at 18°C in a wide wine glass. It can reach an alcoholic strength of 13.5% Vol.
