This wine is the result of 2 weeks fermentation in steel followed by a year aging in used barriques, in order to obtain soft and light tannins. This method helps to manage the aggressive character of Nero d’ Avola and transforms it in mulberry and blackberry scents. 100% Nero d’ Avola grapes cultivated on high hills with an elevation that swings between 450-750 meters on the sea level. “Lamuri” is different from the others Nero d’ Avola because it is able to preserve its primary scents. Its studied assembly in barriques of different ages create soft tannins and a pleasant scent of wood that otherwise is never aggressive. The love of Tasca family for its job creates this prestigious product that truly expresses the union between territory and vine variety.
